Hindi Divas
On 13th September, our school celebrated Hindi Divas with great enthusuasm. Throughout the day, everyone made efforts to communicate in Hindi, concluding the celebration on a positive note.
Teachers’ Day
Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5th of september with great enthusiasm. The whole program was organised by the students and the Principal Rev. Fr. Rupesh. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program.
Grandparents Day / Family Fun Day
Grandparents day and Family fun day was celebrated on 31st August, 2024. The tiny tots of Nursery & Senior Kg along with their respective class teachers appreciated the parents and grandparents to grace the occasion with their presence.
Field Trip: Punjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University
(Grade 5 – 9)
Date: – 22nd August, 2024
Around 100 students from grade 5 to 9 accompanied by eight staff members, embarked on an educational field trip to Punjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University. The trip was highly highly beneficial for the students as it significantly enhanced their knowledge of agriculture science and biotechnology.
Independence Day Celebration
On 15th August, our school celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The entire school premises were adorned with tricolour flags, balloons and decorations, refelecting the spirit to freedom and unity. It was a grand success, instilling the values of freedom, unity, and responsibility among the students.
Guest Speaker (Sonal Baberwal)
Topic:- Brain-Computing Interface System and Human Performance in Space.
On August 6, 2024 Mount Carmel International School had the privilege of hosting a seminar on the given topic. The session offered a look into ma’am sonal’s ongoing projects. An interactive Q & A took place when she visited the students classroom. The Seminar was both informative and inspiring, leaving students with a greater understanding of space research.
Field Trip: Printing Press (Grade 3 & 4)

Location: Deshonnati Paper Press
Objectives: – To gain insight into the paper manufacturing process and understand the production cycle.
The filed trip to the paper press was an enriching experience, providing valuable insight into the paper press was manufacturing. Students gained practical knowledge and developed a new appreciation for the industry.
Bastille Day Celebration
The ‘Bastille Day’ or ‘Le Quatorze Juillet’ was celebrated in MCIS, Akola to inculcate the values like Integration with the world around us. This day comrmorates the storming of the Bastille Prison and it falls on 14th July every year but was celebrated on 16th July, 2024 in the school Premises. This event helped the students to be one with the french culture and cuisine.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast Day Celebration
The feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel the patroness of Mount Carmel Internaional School, Akola was celebrated on 16th of July 2024 in the School Auditorium.
Investiture Ceremony
The investiture ceremony of the year 2024-25 of Mount Carmel International School was held on 16th of July, 2024 in the School Auditorium.
